Sorry for the belated wishes, guys!

Not that I forgot it was Father's Day on Sunday but that I was too busy the last few days to post the wishes here on the day itself! :P

Fathers.. They are very important men in our lives..

I found a saying which I felt described a father very well..

Fathers.. You are so important & so amazing men that what would we do without you..

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my daddy for being such a wonderful daddy to me, all these past 32 years of my life.. :)

Thank you, daddy, for all you've done for me all these past years of my life, from the day that I was born till now..

Thank you for all your sacrificial love & working so hard all these years to give me the very best of everything since I was born till now..

I've been so fortunate since birth till now, never lacking in anything as you've worked so hard to provide me with the best of everything..

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank hubby for being such a wonderful daddy to our 2 boys! :)

Thank you, hubby, for being such a wonderful daddy to our 2 boys, for working hard all these years to provide for them..

Providing for them, physically and emotionally.. putting their needs & wants ahead of your own..

Always being there for them no matter what.. so much so that they are well-provided for in every area of their lives & not lacking in anything.. :)

Fathers.. You are all God's gift to us & our lives will never be complete without you! :)

Thank God for you! :)

Desperate Housewives Season Six! :)

What have I been busy with? :P

Catching up with the new season of Desperate Housewives! :)

Yup!

The much-awaited Desperate Housewives Season Six is back!!! :)

It's started its telecast on the 3rd June 2010.

Telecast will be from the 3rd June 2010 to 2nd December 2010, every Thursdays 11pm (1 hour)

This season is more exciting than ever! :)

Check out this season's details at this weblink! :)

http://entertainment.xin.msn.com/en/tv/channel-5/programmes/desperate-housewives.aspx?cp-documentid=4095282

That reminds me of something.. Soon I'm gonna be one myself.. Haha! LOL.. :p

Starting middle of next month...... :)

Time flies & I've been enjoying my "tai tai" life for coming 3 months already! :)

Recently, bb & I have discussed and we've decided for me to become a Stay-At-Home-Mum! (SAHM)

As Jonathan Ezra, is turning 19 months old soon, we've decided to send him to a playschool located at our nearest community club nearby..

Lessons will be held from Monday to Friday, 2 hours per session..

And I'll be his full-time main caregiver, starting from the middle of next month! :)

This playschool caters for children born in 2007/2008 and their programme consists of: Montessori learning, language, speech & drama, music & movement, thematic learning, number concept, art & craft and cookery lesson! :)

WOW!!!

Sounds really fun & exciting, ya?! :)

Children these days are really fortunate.. :)

We've decided to quit the babysitter, (not for any very negative reasons) but it's just that Jonathan is getting older now & it's about time that he can start learning more things, being educated, and learning to interact with other children his age as well..

It also happened that recently (in May), the babysitter has also accepted another baby into her care and thus has been busy taking care of another baby as well..

Having to babysit both Jonathan & the young baby, (fortunately for her, she has a maid to assist her), she has not been able to provide Jonathan with her full undivided attention as much as before and poor Jonathan seems to have been neglected at times..

But of course, we must also credit her for having done a great job of babysitting Jonathan since he was 4 months old till recently..

So from now till the middle of next month, I'm gonna start preparing myself to embark on this self-sacrificial journey of becoming a full-time stay-at-home mother! Hahaha! :)

It's definitely not easy / gonna be easy being one! [all of you mothers will say a great big loud "YES" to that! :)]

I was fortunate to enjoy that opportunity 5 over years ago when I was also not a working mum then & took care of Shawn Ethan, from his birth till he turned 1 over year old, after which I headed back into the workforce..

Oh man! I still remembered throughout that 1 over year, I almost went nuts on several occasions! :S

Wahahaha! :P

But, of course, that was my 1st time experience in being a full-time mum..

Now I must admit I'm more experienced being a mother of 2.. :)

I also wanna thank God for giving me this opportunity to nurture, bond with & watch Jonathan Ezra grow every minute as I take this time to be there with him every step of the way..

I've been blessed to be able to do that for Shawn Ethan then & to do that again for Jonathan Ezra now.. :)

Time flies.. Another weekend that has just passed.. :)

Last Friday, I took these photos of a very adorable white cat in the neighbourhood..

We nicknamed it "Xiao Bai"..

It's always found sleeping outside a neighbour's door step..

It's very friendly by nature & always allows people to pet/stroke it.. :)

It was oblivious of me snapping its photos & just carried on with its beauty sleep.. :)

So cute! :)

Brought Shawn Ethan to the National Library @ White Sands shopping mall last Friday afternoon..

He did not borrow any library books from there as he has not completed reading those he had borrowed recently..

I borrowed one as I had returned the one which I had completed reading recently..

Here's the book I borrowed:

It has proven to be a good read so far.. :)

Caught 2 movies during the weekend..

Open to Midnight 午夜照相館 (2007) that was showing on Star Chinese Movies channel..

and

Where the Wild Things Are (2009)
on DVD..

Both movies were not that bad..

But I felt they were a little boring.. :p

Open to Midnight 午夜照相館 (2007) was exceptionally lame, though entertaining in a silly way.. :p

we had lunch at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3's TCC on Sunday, after our church service..

TCC's having an extremely great promotion now!

Buy 1 Main Course or Pasta & get 2 free!!!

How awesome is that?! :D

Shawn Ethan having his Baked Chicken Mushroom Penne..

I was having their Mentaiko Spaghetti with Salmon Tataki.. :d

Pasta de Clam..

Chilli Beef Lasagne as well..

And.. their High Tea Set.. :d

The bill amounted up to only $50plus!!! :)

Due to the promotion, 5 dishes with 3 drinks costs only $50 plus!!!

How cool is that?!

Last but not least..

We spotted a little "Doraemon" in the house on Sunday evening, trying to "steal" some of our snacks..

Wahahaha!!! :D

Our little "Doraemon".. :D

Hi mummy, don't I look adorable in this Doraemon outfit that "Ku Ku" bought for me a few months back? :)

Jonathan Ezra has turned 18 months old on the 5th of June 2010! :)

Yup! Our dear boy has turned 18 months old on Saturday, 5th of June 2010! :)

Time really flies & he just received his 18th month immunisation jab on Tuesday, 8th of June 2010.. :)

- He is now 11.7kg in weight & 80cm in height.. :)

- He is now very talkative..

- He can say many words already.. (about ten or more)

- He can address most of us in the family specifically..

- He enjoys imitating our actions & he laughs heartily upon watching us imitate him too..

- He indicates to us what he wants by pointing, pulling and making speech-like sounds & gestures..

- He can hold a regular cup himself & drink from it..

- He can pick up extremely small objects using only his thumbs & index finger..

- He enjoys scribbling & doodling when we give him a pencil.. (He has "decorated" the floor & wall with his scribbling & doodling many times.. :S)

- He enjoys playing with blocks, stacking them one on top of the other, without the blocks falling..

- He, not just walks, but runs as well..

- He has started trying to walk up several steps of the staircase by himself & uses the wall or rail for support but not hold on to a person..

And by the way, I received these via registered mail on Wednesday! :)

A milestone program scrapbook that comes with very colorful inserts! :)

With compliments from Drypers! :)

Address has been blurred out for personal reasons.. ;)

Spending time with my family & loved ones.. :)

This week I managed to spend several afternoons with my maternal grandpa who's in hospital..

He had been admitted into hospital since last Thursday as he has to undergo another surgery to remove another growth in his colon..

This is the 2nd colon surgery he has to undergo..

Sometime last year he had underwent a colon surgery to remove a growth in his colon..

Recently, the doctors found another growth in his colon again & thus he has to be operated on yet again..

As I'm blogging this post, he is currently recuperating in hospital as he had just been operated on yesterday afternoon..

For the past few days, he mentioned that he was craving for Japanese tofu, sweet & sour fish etc. as he was getting really bored with the hospital food..

Thus when I bought these dishes for him to eat the last few days, he was very happy..

Seeing him happy makes me happy too! :)

It is such a wonderful thing & an awesome feeling to be able to spend as much time as possible with family members & loved ones! :)

It is something which no amount of money can buy.. :)

I've been enjoying this privilege for these past 2 over months & it's really an awesome thing for me & I'm so grateful and thankful for it! :)

Brought Shawn Ethan out again yesterday..

We went to Northpoint Shopping Centre where we visited the Popular Bookstore there to purchase 2 Maths Assessment books for him..

Also brought him to the rooftop water playground where he enjoyed himself there..

We had dinner with my mum at the nearby Chong Pang central as well.. :)

What's up this week for me.. ;)

On Sunday, after having our lunch @ Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2's Sakae Sushi outlet,

we headed to Giant Tampines to do abit of grocery shopping..

While we were there, we managed to take a Polaroid photo with this funny looking rabbit at the Colgate roadshow.. ;p

Here's a snapshot I took of the Polaroid photo.. (that's the reason for the blur quality..)

Here's another snapshot I took of Jonathan Ezra, playing at a Sesame Street character-[Oscar the Grouch] kiddy ride that night at Hougang Village Shopping Mall..

Hmm.. Oscar the Grouch seems to like him.. Haha~! :P

On Tuesday afternoon, before we went to Funan DigitaLife mall

for tea cum lunch, we dropped by The Arts House to check out the Cats of the World Photo Exhibition there! :)
