Shrek Forever After & Salt..

Watched these 2 DVDs the past 2 days..

Shrek Forever After - The Final Chapter

A bored and domesticated Shrek pacts with deal-maker Rumpelstiltskin to get back to feeling like a real ogre again, but when he's duped and sent to a twisted version of Far Far Away -- where Rumpelstiltskin is king, ogres are hunted, and he and Fiona have never met -- he sets out to restore his world and reclaim his true love. Written by IMDb Editors

My comments: Relatively entertaining & funny! A good fun fairytale for the family, and a wonderful end to a saga.

Comparing this with Toy Story 3, I must say Shrek Forever After has done a good job but nothing beats Toy Story 3 as still the best animation summer blockbuster & #1 Animated Film of The Year 2010!

Salt

Evelyn Salt is a CIA agent and highly respected by all, including her boss, Ted Winter. Out of the blue, a Russian spy walks into their offices and offers a vital piece of information: the President of Russia will be assassinated during his forthcoming visit to New York City to attend the funeral of the recently deceased U.S. Vice President. The name of the assassin: Evelyn Salt. Concerned about the safety of her husband, who she cannot contact, she goes on the run. Winter refuses to accept that she is a mole or a double agent but her actions begin to raise doubts. Just who is Evelyn Salt and what is she planning?

My comments: An exciting & keeps-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat movie!

And as usual, Angelina Jolie succeeds in playing yet another female action hero role as Salt. The question of where Salt's loyalties lie is the true source of tension and Jolie plays it cool, gaining and dismissing the audience's trust several times over.

The action scenes were sharply directed. However, I personally feel that the stunts performed by Angelina Jolie added a cheesy, fanciful element to what would have been an entirely too serious movie.

The first 40 minutes are fast and furious as Salt evades her fellow agents by any means necessary but not to be outdone, the rest of the film takes a left turn and continues to surprise with some serious fisticuffs, gun-play and high-speed car chases.

Admittedly, for all its skill and enthusiasm, Salt's finale is a little over-the-top and it wanders into well-worn ground without knowing when to stop.

Aside from this minor gripe, Salt is a well-directed action movie that delivers us a potential new franchise & an intriguing lead character.

An amusing "threat" mail from a blog reader of mine..

I enjoy reading emails from my blog fans & blog readers..

And I normally do make an effort to reply to their emails..

Once in a few months, I do receive interesting, amusing & sometimes, even entertaining "threat" mails or what some people call them "hate" mails..

For these kind of mails, I normally ignore them & most of the time, I just forward them to my trash folder without reading its entire contents..

Well, I personally feel that it's very normal and it's part & parcel of life for every single person on this earth to have people who like them & people who don't..

No one is perfect..

As much as there are many people who like/love me, then I believe there are also those who may not..

And to be very honest, I don't care a damn..

Those who love me, love me.. Those who don't.. Who cares?!

Well, recently, a joker sent me a "threat" mail..

And as usual, I forwarded it to my trash folder as I usually do to these kind of mails..

However, guess I was too free that night & decided to get some "amusement" out of it & decided to take a look at the mail..

After reading it, I really couldn't help but feel sorry for the pitiful nitwit..

Haha! The ignorant ninny actually wrote me a "threat" mail without even knowing the nature of my job, without knowing more about the MNC I'm working in, etc etc etc..

To cut the long story short..

Below are the print screens pics of this pathetic numskull's "threat" email to me & my reply back to him/her..

And I believe this pathetic fella, upon reading my reply, realizes what a fool he/she has made himself/herself to be, didn't dare reply me since then!

Wahaha!!!

Check this out.. (Double click on the pic to read in larger font)

Here's my reply..

Hah! So after reading the silly bugger's email & my reply, don't you think the brainless creature is so pathetic?! LOL

Well..

So by the way, I hope you are reading this, whoever you are..

Yes, You! You know who You are..

Hah! Thanks for the very "entertaining" mail..

I'm sure all my blog fans & blog readers reading this post are "very entertained" by your stupidity, foolishness & it also proves what an airhead nincompoop you are..

So now is my turn to say this to you in return..

Quoting parts from your very own email..

To punish you, I'm posting your stupidity for the entire world to see the contents of this blog post of mine and to inform every single soul reading this blog post, what a downright stupid blockhead you are! This is to teach you a lesson not to mess with me. Just be prepared to receive unpleasant "hate" mails from whomever I give your email address to. But don't worry, I believe my blog fans & readers will not be too nasty. I'll tell them to be nice.

I don't expect a letter of apology from you. In fact, from now on, I've blocked you from my mailbox & all future mails from you will be diverted to & left unread in my trash/spam folder.

Feeling frustrated that I am messing with you, retaliating & making an outright fool of you here? Haha! Too bad! There's nothing you can do about it & I DEFINITELY DO NOT CARE A DAMN who you are! I don't want to have anything to do with fools, let alone ever wanting to know one!

All the best! (I don't believe in luck)

:P
