A "brother" of mine was not able to meet me for a drink yesterday cos' he could not find his car keys before leaving home!!!

WAHAHAHA! :D

Yeah! As usual, this "brother" of mine, Kenneth, is always so comical! :P

Yo bro! You know I'm talking about you! And I bet you're gonna read this blog post cos' you're my all-time blog fan, ya? LOL.. *winks* ;)

WAHAHAHA!

Alright, I shall not tease you any further.. But I really could not help laughing at you! LOL.. :p

You are always so funny! :P

Anyway, it's ok that you weren't able to meet me after your mishap, no worries cos' I'd also still managed to spent the afternoon heading down to Orchard Paragon

after leaving Tanjong Pagar..

Went there to pass somethings to another "brother" of mine, Jian Yu, at his workplace there.. :)

And while I was there, I also visited the bank to obtain some information.

After which, I travelled down to Yishun to meet my mum & Shawn Ethan, for dinner at Northpoint Shopping Centre.. :)

Bodyguards and Assassins

Watched Bodyguards and Assassins on DVD this week & was very impressed!

As most film critics & movie reviewers gave it very good reports, I must agree that this film's really very impressive.

This film had it all! Impressive production; directing; choreography; storyline; plot, very well-selected & chosen actors for their individual roles..

Kampong Glam area.. :)

Visited & strolled down Kampong Glam area yesterday afternoon.. :)

Kampong Glam is well-known for its many landmarks there & one is none other than their ever-popular Masjid Sultan Mosque, located at No.3 Muscat Street.. :)

This beautiful mosque - The Sultan Mosque was named after the first Sultan of Singapore, was built with a SGD3,000 grant from the East India Company. It is the largest mosque in Singapore and the present building was constructed in 1928. With its massive gold-topped dome and spacious prayer hall, the mosque has one particularly interesting feature--the base of the dome is made up of glass bottles.

Just beside Masjid Sultan Mosque, was the Malay Heritage Centre, located just a street away, between Kandahar Street & Aliwal Street..

Had never visited the Centre before, thus I went in to take a look & was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful & peaceful the place is.. :)

Here are a few photos I took of the place while I was there.. :)

It so happened that there was also a Pasar Malam going on along Kandahar Street during this period of the fasting month.. :)

I couldn't resist a cup of Icy Chendol on the hot sunny afternoon.. ;d

It was delicious! :D

After which, I strolled down Bussorah Street..

I really like the place cos' as I was strolling down the lane, I felt as if I was not in Singapore anymore..

You will understand what I mean when you are there.. ;)

Little pretty shophouses lined both sides of the street.. :)

Stumbled by chance upon this shop called Children's Little Museum @ 42 Bussorah Street.. :)

There were also many other interesting shops located along Bussorah Street, however, due to the sudden downpour, Clement (who came to meet me later) & I stopped by this backpacker's cafe for a drink while waiting for the rain to stop..

The name of the cafe was Sleepy Sam.. :)

It has a very nice, cosy, dim ambience.. :)

"Uncle" Clement on the phone.. :P

We also stopped by OBJECTIFS

& strolled down Haji Lane..

I also dropped by the National Library Building along Victoria Street that afternoon

& "bumped" into my friend, Angeline, there.. :)

Another weekend with da boys

Enjoyed a late breakfast with family @ East Coast's McDonald's on Saturday morning! :)

Below is a video & photos of Jonathan Ezra, riding on the kiddie rides, located outside East Coast's McDonald's.. :)

On Sunday, we had our lunch at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3's Xin Wang HongKong Cafe..

We had a sumptuous meal of noodles with luncheon meat & egg.. Noodles with egg & chye poh.. Hor Fun with prawn & egg.. Pork Floss Fried Rice.. Cheese Baked Rice with Pork Chop.. Yuan Yang Iced Tea etc.

Sorry, didn't get a chance to take photos of all the dishes above.. :P

Too busy with da boys.. :/

After our lunch, both boys enjoyed themselves at the Changi Games 2010 held at Terminal 3's Departure Hall.. :)

Here are some photos I took of them while they were there..

Friday the 13th.. ;)

Last Friday, which also happened to be Friday the 13th, I visited White Sands National Library

to return my library book which I've finished reading & also borrowed another while I was there..

I borrowed Roald Dahl's Book of Ghost Stories.. :)

So far it has proved to be very entertaining & creepy.. :) Hehe.. :)

To emphasize on how "inauspicious" the day was, I chanced upon an interesting sight while I was on my way to the library that afternoon..

I spotted 13 black crows, all perched in a row, by the canal, that afternoon!

What an amusing sight! ;D
