Spent wonderful times with my darling brother, Clement for the past 4 days! :)

I just wanna take this opportunity to say..

Thank you so much, my darling bro, Clement..

Who's always there for me..

Standing by me..

All the time..

No matter what..

Always so faithful..

So loving..

So encouraging..

So unwavering..

I really love you sooo much & I really feel very loved by you..

All these time..

No matter what happens & no matter how many people have let me down.. ( All the guys had.. Every single one of them had.. )

You have always been the one by my side at the end of the day..

Everytime I'm so down & at the point of breaking down..

You were always there for me..

You were right..

No matter how many promises these people make,

At the end of the day..

It's all just empty promises that were all broken..

It is not what that has been said that matters, but what that has not been said..

No one can be trusted..

But you have proven yourself..

I love you, bro..

More than ever before..

Even more as the days & years go by..

Last week...

K.. Let's see.. Let me recollect.. What I did & where I had been to last week.. ;p

Hmm..

Well..

I acted as an extra in one of Clement's movie projects whereby he is the Assistant Director & the Director is from a Hong Kong university & some of the crew in it are from Republic Polytechnic..

I had a fun time stirring crazy on the set with the rest of the crew, actors & actresses..

Made lots of new friends..

We had a great time not just on but off the set too.. :)

You guys rock!!! :)

Caught I AM LEGEND with Shol..

after the filming wrapped up.. :)

But he is not alone. He is surrounded by the Infected victims of the plague who have mutated into carnivorous beings who can only exist in the dark and who will devour or infect anyone or anything in their path.

For three years, Neville has spent his days scavenging for food and supplies and faithfully sending out radio messages, desperate to find any other survivors who might be out there. All the while, the Infected lurk in the shadows, watching Nevilles every move, waiting for him to make a fatal mistake.

Perhaps mankinds last, best hope, Neville is driven by only one remaining mission: to find a way to reverse the effects of the virus using his own immune blood. But his blood is also what The Infected hunt, and Neville knows he is outnumbered and quickly running out of time.

Will Smith is sooo cool!!!

He has always been one of my favourite Hollywood actors.. Had always adored him.. :)

It has been sometime since I went to the games arcade & played Intial D, Maximum Tune etc..

Thus, I went to the games arcade at Plaza Singapura with Shol & tried my hand at them..

Just to check out whether I had gone rusty with my "driving" skills..

Hmm.. tried my hands at Initial D Version 4 1st and...

I'm still good at it!!! Hehe.. ;p

Still beat the computer 2x!!! Hehe.. ;p

Then next I tried racing in Midnite Maximum Tune Version 3..

HeeHaa!!!

I still beat the computer 2x!!! Hehe.. ;p

However, as usual, always being the only gal at the games arcade playing these kinda car racing games..

I always had guy competitors challenging me at these games..

Thus, one guy came along & competed with me & Shol in Midnite Maximum Tune Version 3..

Of course, he, being a professional, beat us at it..

But, not bad lah.. I still came in 2nd in place.. :p

Then, next, another guy came along & competed with the 3 of us!

And this time I came in 3rd.. :(

*Sighz* So demoralized.. :(

It's really time to brush up my racing skills again.. ;p

This is so cool.. Very true & meaningful..

Ending a relationship is just like having the worst nightmare after having the best dream.

We cannot beg someone to stay if they want to leave and be with someone else.

We have to admit that love doesn't give us the license to own a person.

This is what love means...sacrifice.

Often times we say goodbye to the person we love without wanting to.

Though that doesnt mean that we've stopped loving them or we've stopped to care.

Sometimes goodbye is a painful way to say I love you.

Some people say the worst way to miss someone is when they are right next to you and you know you can't have them, but it's worse when you thought you didn't want them anymore and then all of a sudden you realize you can't live without them.

Deep in my heart, I'm suffering, knowing that I've lost you.

On the outside, I'm living, pretending that I've forgotten you.

A failing love is like desperately hanging on to something precious; not wanting to give up, but your hands feel the pain.

And, when you finally let go, you're free from any pain, but your hands are empty.

How can I promise you forever when tomorrow is so far away from me?

How can I dry your tears when I have a bleeding heart inside of me?

How can I ever forget you when your name is etched so deep within me?

They say no matter how dark the night is, the sun always rises again ...

I say lost love makes one realize that no matter how bright the day is, the sun will always set again.

A heart breaking isn't always as loud as a bomb exploding..

Sometimes it can be as quiet as a feather falling..

And the most painful thing is, no one really hears it, except you..

Who do you run to when the only person who can make you stop crying, is exactly the one who is making you cry?

Short Circuit 2

Met Clement as usual that evening at City Hall to go attend a strictly private event held at The Substation..
Short Circuit 2 is a strictly private event, a strictly private short local film festival, held at The Substation..
Short Circuit 2 is a one-night film showcase curated by Boo Junfeng and Alfian Sa'at, (both Clement's friends ), which will celebrate works by either *queer filmmakers or those dealing with *queer subjects..
Following a successful inaugural screening last year, Short Circuit is back again! It's been a rollercoaster year for the *queer community in Singapore, and what better way to cap the year than with a film screening that affirms the vital contributions of *queer film makers to local cinema.
With a menagerie of lions, locusts and monkeys, and spanning the globe, from London to Los Angeles to Katong, join us as we celebrate some of the freshest and finest works from some of Singapore's most promising young directors!
Me being blatantly straightforward, direct & honest, as usual, shall make it easier for my faithful blog readers here to understand that the meaning of *queer here means gay k? ;p

Entry to Short Circuit 2 is restricted to only those who are a friend or close friend of any of the local filmmakers / producers / directors of any of the 10 short films that are being shown..

Of course, being a friend of Clement.. I managed to have the privilege & honour to be attending this event.. :)

Thank you, "darling".. ;)

It was altogether a very interesting experience for me..

And we really enjoyed ourselves a lot.. :)

Cos at this event, it's where we get lots of opportunities to interact & network with many of our very own local short filmmakers / producers / directors..

And watch their short films & works.. :)

Our very own darling Royston Tan
who gave you lots of productions like 881,

4:30,
15, Cut etc.. was there too! :)

Of course, there were many other filmmakers / producers / directors there too.. :)

Not forgetting.. Boo Jun Feng ( Clement's friend )

Know more about him at: http://www.blurty.com/users/witheringtravis

whom some of his popular works like Changi Murals,

A Family Portrait,
Katong Fugue,
etc..

Loo Zihan ( Clement's friend ) who is better known as the lead actor who starred in Pleasure Factory..

Know more about him at: http://loozihan.wordpress.com/about/

Yeah.. In case you guys don't know, he's also a director ah..

Some of his popular works are like Solos,

Embryo,

etc..

Brian Gothong Tan ( Clement's friend )

Wow!!! This guy gave us sooo many works..

I've lost count to an extend that if I were to name all of them here, there's sooo many, this blog post will seem like it's never gonna end!!! ;p
Of course, there are many more of Clement's friends who are filmmakers, directors & producers who were at the event & not mentioned in this blog post..

Anyway, I really respect them & take my hat off to them, cos' they are all really nice people & most of them are very humble too..

Amazing.. for the fact that most of their works has actually won lots of awards internationally in different film festivals all around the world..

It is my honour & privilege knowing these guys and their works!!! :)

Depeche Mode - Somebody

Depeche Mode - Somebody

These few days, this song ( One of my favourites by Depeche Mode ) kept ringing in my head again..

Maybe it's because I really want somebody ( like what has been described in the lyrics ) like that in my life once again..

I am...

I'm very very sad.. :=(

My heart aches & pains very very badly.. :=(

It has been broken into a million pieces.. & it hurts sooo bad.. :=(

Sooo painful.. :=(

I jus simply don't know how to describe my feelings at this moment.. :=(

I think I can cry forever.. :=(

I wish I'm dead & gone..

I hate myself for what I've become..

I hate this person I've become..

It's not me at all..

I want to be the happy-go-lucky Grace like before..

I want to be the happy Grace that I used to be..

I want to be happy like always before.. I want to be happier too..

But it seems impossible..

Someone please shoot me & kill me..

Spare me from this misery..

I don't blame Romeo & Juliet..

I understand their misery..

They were willing to die for the one they love..

At least they were finally able to be together..

In death..

MOTO Q 9h - Motorola Q Series Phone - Motorola Latest Products

Advert These bunnies known as Tuzki (兔斯基), are one of my favorite MSN emoticons!

Simplistic, noseless and mouthless, Tuzki has been hot with MSN users since the beginning of 2007. He originally hails from China, created by Wang Momo, a student in animation department of Beijing Broadcasting Institute.

Chinese people, who have a penchant for all things cute, have a favorite phrase, "Q Q". Yes literally, Q(1) Q(1), which sounds a bit like "cute cute". So they will say something like "you have such a Q Q face!" meaning your face is cute and supple.

Q also sounds like a mix of cute and cool --> cu-ool. Remember Jolin Tsai's catchy little ditty Mr Q?

Edison Chen - "Mr Q"... Oh yeah.. :p

Well anyway, it turns out the also very Q bunny Tuzki is...... the new mascot for Motorola's fantastic new phone, the MOTO Q 9h!
Simple, elegant and eye-catching (with high-end finishes and hints of the Razor design), the ultra-slim MOTO Q™ 9h, at only 11.8 millimeters is probably one of the most Q phones ever! Stylish and great for busy people on the go!

I'm seriously considering getting one, because I find myself wanting to surf the net, blog, and check my emails even while I'm out.

The Moto Q 9h is...

Internet Explorer and Opera browser
Hi-speed wireless connection with HSDPA technology

**Great for Instant Messaging (Tuzki's fave!)

Migration Film Festival

Migration Film Festival being held at Pitch Black, located at 63 Haji Lane..

A cool cafe along Haji Lane. It has a movie screening room on the 2nd level, complete with a Blu-ray DVD player!

Of course, as you guys must have guessed..

We were there earlier than everybody else..

Thus we grabbed the best seats!

Yup! We got the "double-decked bed" seats.. The higher deck one.. ;p

Sooo comfy!!! ;)

After finish watching the films, we walked down Haji Lane where last night was a happening night there.. :)

Here are a few photos I took with my Nokia N95 handphone while I was there..

The amazing thing was this fat cat could still sleep so soundly amidst all the hustle & bustle that was going on & even when I was taking photos of it with my flash light on.. :p
