Brought the boys to Northpoint Shopping Centre

in the afternoon, where Jonathan Ezra had a haircut at the baby saloon there..

After which, we brought them to the shopping centre's rooftop wet playground where they enjoyed getting themselves all wet that afternoon! :)

We enjoyed ourselves tremendously! :)

HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY TO ALL THE CHILDREN ALL AROUND THE WORLD!!! :)

2 days of medical leave.. Yesterday & today! Super long weekend for me! :) Awesome opportunity to catch up on watching movies on DVD! :)

Yup! I went to visit my company doctor yesterday & he gave me 2 days of m.c. for yesterday & today! :)

My stomach was feeling unwell on Wednesday evening & I had a slight fever & running nose on Wednesday night..

Yesterday my body was aching all over, thus I went to visit my company doctor yesterday afternoon..

He gave me mc for 2 days, told me that I have the symptoms of gastric flu & ask me to have a good rest.. :)

Thus I had the opportunity to have a good rest indeed.. ;p

Went for a manicure & pedicure nearby.. :P

Dark red nail polish with glittery top coat.. for my fingernails & toenails.. :)

Also went for a shoulder & back body massage at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2.. :P

Damn shiok! :)

Also took the opportunity to watch several movies on DVD this week! :)

Watched IP MAN 2 on DVD..

Woo Hoo! The movie was super duper smashingly awesome! :)

Love it to bits! :)

Also watched Martin Scorsese's Shutter Island on DVD..

Shutter Island is a 2010 American psychological thriller film directed by Martin Scorsese. The film is based on Dennis Lehane's 2003 novel of the same name.

I agree with the movie critics.. This movie is indeed a stunning masterpiece! :)

In my opinion, it's a psychologically-challenging movie to watch..

This is definitely not a typical film..

A completely unexpected film..

It had all the components of a great film, and then some. The acting is spot on from every character; none of it seems forged or out of place. The script is fantastic..

It has one of the most intriguing plots I have seen in a while..

To those, who have not seen this film, be ready for a compelling, gripping, thought-provoking experience, so much so that you will have to see it again for further clarity!

It is a movie that you definitely have to watch at least twice!

Cos' after the twist at the very end, one realizes that one has to go back to the beginning of the movie & watch it all over again for all the clues, slight giveaways etc.

Leonardo Dicaprio is, as usual, an awesome actor..

DiCaprio just gets better with each film, especially the ones he makes with Scorsese. As they did in The Aviator and The Departed, Scorsese and DiCaprio have created another protagonist perpetually on the verge of losing his grip as they intensify the pressure on his psyche until the stress finally causes a climatic rupture.

There are layers to DiCaprio's performance that should be more evident upon subsequent viewings, but he is, along with Christian Bale, one of the few young actors who can bring depth, complexity and subtlety to obsessed, often unhinged characters.

Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese has created a divinely dark and devious brain tease of a movie once again..

Martin Scorsese is indeed one of the most brilliant directors of all time! :)

Gonna watch Roman Polanski's The Ghost Writer on DVD today! :)

Heard it's Polanski's best in years! :)

Met up with my long-time "brother", Cornelius, on Monday for lunch @ Raffles Place, as he's working there.. :)

I really enjoy meeting up with this long-time "brother" of mine.. :)

He's such a sweet-natured & humorous guy.. :)

He's always been like this since the very day I knew him years ago..

We've known each other since I was 17 years old!!! :D

And we meet up every few months.. :)

Shawn Ethan also had their Lobster Bisque Baked Rice..

tried their Prawn, Ham, Cheese & Mushroom Baked Pasta.. =)

Also tried their Cream of Mushroom Soup & Chicken Soup too..

After lunch, we wanted to try out the F1 Thrill Rides, located at The Departure Hall, Belt 11..

However, upon seeing the super long queue, we decided not to..

Instead, both the boys wanted to take the kiddy rides located at the carpark basement 2..

I am definitely not a perfect person..

I am human..

I have my weaknesses.. (and yes, to name them, the list can be as thick as a telephone directory).. LOL.. ;P

And I am not afraid to admit them..

In fact, I am very open to & appreciative of very close friends who share with me very honestly about it (whichever mode/method they choose to) & I learned to take note of what they've very sincerely shared & try my best to do something about it..

We all learn & are still learning through our weaknesses & mistakes ever made in our lives & move on to be better people..

The saddest thing is not everybody can accept their weaknesses..

Some people simply can't handle the truth..

And because of that, they can't seem to move on & progress in life when everyone else around them are..

They think the fault lies with everyone around them; thinking everyone has issues whereas the issue is actually they themselves..

Well.. I can go on musing about this topic.. But I shall not.. LOL.. :p

All I can say is.. as the song sung by Robbie Williams goes.. "Lord I'm doing.. All I can.. To be a better man.."

Despite my weaknesses, God has never failed me..

He's been so good to me my entire life..

I am still so blessed.. =)

We had a splashing fun time @ VivoCity's rooftop Skypark on Sunday afternoon! :D

The boys really enjoyed themselves! :D

After which, we decided to have lunch @ VivoCity's Marche restaurant.. :)

While we were at VivoCity, I also visited the Crocs store where I bought myself another black pair of slip-in's from the Crocs Women's Malindi series..

I absolutely adore the Crocs Women's Malindi series.. :)

They come in sooo many colours! :)

I've already purchased 2 pairs before this.. 1 in red & 1 in black..

This is my 3rd pair.. LOL.. :p

Even the sales person at the retail store confirms that of all the designs, the ones from the Women's Malindi series are the most comfortable in the market..

The retail sales girls are wearing them themselves! :)

Also visited the Daiso store there to purchase storage bags for household use.. :)

That night, after visiting my maternal grandfather in hospital, together with the boys and my mum, we went for supper at Upper Thomson Road's Han's Cafe and Cake House 24 hour branch outlet again.. :d

This time round, the place was super packed with football fans!!! :)

Manchester United & Liverpool fans had gathered there to watch the live telecast of the match on cable TV! :)

Being a Manchester United fan myself, I was so happy that Manchester United won Liverpool!!! 3-2!!! :)
